Villa Calluna’s tastefully furnished design apartments are in the core of Sand in Taufers, surrounded by charming shops, cafés, and restaurants, only a few steps from the nearest bakery and supermarket.
Our cozy guest house with South Tyrolean flair is located right next to the Villa, to which it is connected underground.
The atmospheric setting for both vacation retreats are the Ahrntal mountains, meadows, forests, and the mighty Taufers Castle.

The Origin
“The origin of everything was our grandmother's favorite flower, the Erica (heather),
after which she named her small and tranquil pension. It was a place where grandma lovingly cooked for her guests and where every holiday became a lasting memory."

Today as at grandma’s times our guest house in Sand in Taufers is filled with a warm atmosphere: cheerful disposition, authentic hospitality, and an infallible sense of the exceptional.
Additionally, we have added a personal touch to it. And now, our villa has got a new look: the down-to-earth boarding house rooms have been turned into comfortable apartments. To offer our guests even more comfort, the rustic basement has been transformed into a cozy wellness area. Now Grandma’s place is run by her young and creative niece Carmen, who feels as connected to tradition as to innovation, and the original name “Erica” has been substituted by the botanic Latin name “Calluna”.

You will be welcomed by: Carmen - a very cheerful person with numerous interests. Working in tourism, she traveled the world for several years, bringing the most beautiful things with her to Villa Calluna in Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures.
She loves connecting with people and looks forward to a good chat and discovering interesting stories.
Each person has a unique story to tell, and Carmen would love to listen to them all - perhaps during a conversation in the sunny garden or after a nice tour in the mountains. Als Touristikerin reiste sie mehrere Jahre durch die Welt und brachte die tollsten Dinge, denen sie dabei begegnete, mit nach Hause nach Sand in Taufers in die Villa Calluna.
Sie ist liebend gerne mit Menschen in Kontakt, freut sich auf gesellige Gespräche und anregende Erzählungen.
Jeder Mensch hat eine einzigartige Geschichte – das weiß Carmen, und würde sich am liebsten jede einzelne anhören, bei einem Ratscherle in der Gartensonne, oder nach einer Tagestour in den Bergen. Denn Geschichten hören sich noch schöner an, wenn man sich auch die Zeit dazu nimmt, sie zu erzählen.
